Cherry Cough Syrup (demo)

Cherry is sick—and they need cough syrup!

Cherry Cough Syrup is a snappy, high-score focused platformer inspired by the quirky 1980s Tecmo game Mighty Bomb Jack. Use Cherry's unique jumping abilities to float, flutter, and fall through a series of unsettling somatic levels. Maximize your score by collecting cough drops, patches, pills, and, of course, delicious cherry cough syrup.

Controls:

• Left/Right Arrow Key: Move
• F: Jump
• Up + F: High Jump
• F (tap repeatedly while in the air): Flutter
• Down Arrow Key (while in the air): Fast Fall
• D: Drink Cough Syrup (transforms Cherry)
• P: Pause game

This is currently a work-in-progress demo slated for release later in 2024 or early 2025. The demo includes around forty levels for roughly an hour of total play. Feedback, comments, and bug reports are highly appreciated.
